Our Team

Joe Logan

Managing Director

Joe Logan founded Pinnacle Group International in 1995 with a mission to drive company success and help investment professionals build fulfilling, meaningful careers. Pinnacle Group began with a broad focus across the alternative investment spectrum and has evolved over the past decade into a highly specialized practice. Joe has worked diligently to build a strong reputation within a select group of client verticals. He has a genuine passion for supporting professionals in the investment space and often goes above and beyond to guide candidates at every stage of their careers. Joe earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. John’s University in 1985.

Joe splits his time between a quiet cabin in the woods of Pennsylvania and an apartment in Boulder, Colorado, and is originally from New York. Outside of his career, Joe is an outdoor enthusiast and avid reader who enjoys exploring new national parks and reading literary fiction. He is also committed to philanthropy, particularly organizations focused on protecting the natural environment.

Brant Moxley

Managing Director

Brant Moxley joined Pinnacle Group in 2000 and currently serves as a Managing Director. He spent his early career at a hedge fund in Hong Kong and at the Investment Company Institute in Washington, DC, before relocating to Phoenix, where he spent several years working in corporate finance within the travel industry. At the firm, Brant finds purpose working at the intersection of recruiting talent for the finance industry, as he helps individuals advance their careers while supporting clients as they build their firms. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University.

Brant has lived in Phoenix for over twenty years and was born in Alaska, later growing up in Ohio and Arkansas. Outside of his career, Brant enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching college football, and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Trevor Esse

Director

Trevor Esse joined Pinnacle Group in 2018 as an intern in Candidate Relations and quickly advanced into a lead recruiting role in 2019. With a genuine knack for making connections, Trevor is dedicated to helping candidates get on the right track, whether by placing them in an open role or guiding them toward the next best step. In 2023, Trevor strengthened the firm’s bi-coastal presence by opening Pinnacle Group’s Orange County location. Trevor earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Business from Arizona State University in 2018.

Trevor is based in Southern California and is a native of the region. Outside of his career, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and enthusiastically supporting Eagles football. He is also an amateur chef and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen.

Trevor McInerney

Senior Associate

Trevor McInerney joined Pinnacle Group in 2023 as a Candidate Relations Associate and advanced to a lead recruiting role in 2025. He finds fulfillment in serving as a stepping stone in candidates’ professional growth and career development. Trevor earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from California State University, Stanislaus in 2022.

Trevor is based in Southern California and played collegiate baseball as an infielder. Outside of his career, Trevor is passionate about protecting the state’s coastline and spends his free time surfing.

Connie Cocroft

Managing Director

Connie Cocroft joined Pinnacle Group in 2022 as a Recruiting Consultant, bringing a strong on-the-ground presence in New York to recruit, meet, and advise candidates. With a background spanning investment banking, venture capital, equity research, private equity, corporate strategy, and analytics, she offers valuable mentorship for candidates and a deep understanding of the industry. Having been placed in her first venture capital role by the firm, Connie understands firsthand the value a good match can bring for candidates and companies. She remains active in the industry as a Venture Partner at Trailhead Capital and a Partner at Earendel Partners. Connie earned a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Connie lives full-time in New York City and is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. Outside of her career, Connie enjoys walks in Central Park, playing squash, and spending time with her family.

Danielle Rozansky

Marketing & Communications Manager

Danielle Rozansky joined Pinnacle Group in 2025 as Marketing & Communications Manager. She brings experience across marketing strategy, writing, and digital content creation. Danielle strengthens the firm’s brand presence and engagement by creating original content across Pinnacle Group’s channels to support candidates through transitions. Before joining Pinnacle Group, Danielle worked as a special education teacher, an experience that instilled a strong sense of empathy and a people-first approach in her work supporting career transitions. Danielle earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from North Carolina State University in 2019.

Danielle is currently based in North Carolina and is originally from the Tri-State Area. Outside of work, she enjoys reading across a wide range of genres, golfing, and enthusiastically supporting the Carolina Hurricanes.

Steph Mulliniks

Vice President

Steph Mulliniks joined Pinnacle Group in 2005 as an Associate performing back-end operations and advanced to Vice President of Operations in 2007. Before Pinnacle Group, Steph worked for Wells Fargo in multiple departments, specializing in operations and business systems. With great attention to detail, Steph manages the firm’s operations and provides support for recruiters by sourcing candidates.

Steph lives in Prescott, Arizona, and is originally from South Dakota. Outside of her career, Steph enjoys hiking, traveling, and Stephen King novels.

Missy Kayser

Operations Associate

Missy Kayser joined Pinnacle Group in 2007 as a Consultant and has since advanced to Operations Associate. Missy supports the firm’s back-end operations, maintains candidate relationships, ensures database integrity, and manages placement documentation. She finds satisfaction in following candidates from their initial introduction to the database through their placement.

Missy lives in Indio, California, and is originally from South Dakota. Outside of her career, Missy enjoys spending time with her family and bird watching.
